Duo-colored pens are a bright collaboration between brilliant stationery design firm Mark's Inc. and the innovative Anterique, a Japanese pen maker at the intersection of "antique" and "technique."

Typically, ballpoint pens are filled with ink that's dense and viscous, as it must cover the rolling bearing ball in the point (hence, ballpoint) to be transferred to the paper without leaking. Anterique has engineered a tip with a built-in spring that accommodates ink with much lower viscosity, delivering a smooth, crisp, ultra-fine 0.5mm line without the "skips" of a traditional ballpoint pen.  

Writing ease gets an additional assist from the pen's lightweight plastic barrel, comfortable i hand during longer writing sessions.
